3rd ANNUAL JURIED ART CONTEST

Walls of Wittenberg and Marshfield Clinic are proud to Co-sponsor this art contest.

Original works should draw inspiration from the varied landscape of Wisconsin: pastures, city streets, woodlands, villages, teepees, Victorian painted ladies, bird nests, condominiums. Interpretations may be broad and are not limited to representational art.

Eligible techniques include photography, painting, printmaking, mixed media, textiles, papermaking, ceramics, and wood.

• art must be original and created within the last 2 years

• art must not have been shown before at the WOWSPACE

• all art must be framed and ready to hang with wire (no saw tooth hangers)

• artists may submit TWO works of art for judging and possible inclusion in the show

Each piece of art must be accompanied by a completed and signed exhibitor contract and sales agreement. Forms are by contacting Business & More, 511 S. Webb St, Wittenberg, #715-253-3180. We strongly encourage artists to offer their works for sale. In 2009, more than $3,000 worth of art was sold.

Art and the completed Exhibitor Contract and Sales Agreement may be brought to the WOWSPACE, 114 Vinal St., Wittenberg, on SATURDAY, MAY 22, 10 AM to 3 PM. In addition, art may be brought to Business & More, 511 S. Webb St, Wittenberg, during usual business hours from May 17 through May 21. All art will hang for the duration of the show. Art must be picked up on SATURDAY, JULY 10, 10 AM to 3 PM at the WOWSPACE.

The Grand Opening of this exciting WOWSPACE show will be during Wittenberg’s Community Days, June 12 and 13, 10-4 PM. In addition, the WOWSPACE will be open the following 3 weekends through July 4, Saturdays and Sundays, 11-3, for those unable to visit the show during Wittenberg’s Community Days.
