Wine and Cheese Gala

On Friday, May 9, 2008, more than 80 people attended the first Wine & Cheese Gala in the WOW space. A festive evening complete with bottle trees, flowers from Majestic Farms Greenhouse and Landscaping, the music of the Zopel Jazz Trio, the delectable cheeses of Nueske's Applewood Smoked Meats, the luscious fruit from Hanke's Super Valu, the WOW water from Langlade Springs, LLC, interesting wines and seeing the wonderful art work from the 'Spring into Summer Art Contest'.

Because of the generosity of 22 sponsors -- businesses, individuals, and community organizations -- and the support of the community, we raised almost $3400 which will go to fund more murals.

Many people helped make this an outstanding community event. We give a heartfelt thank you to them all.
