Beth Koeppel

Beth Koeppel is a 2008 graduate of Wittenberg – Birnamwood High School and graduated from the University of Minnesota where she studied architecture. From a very young age she was interested in art. During middle school and high school, she had several pieces submitted to student art exhibitions at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum and Center for Visual Arts in Wausau, WI. Several pieces were advanced to state-wide shows in Madison and Wisconsin Rapids. As a senior she took “Best of Show” in the annual Retrospect at Wittenberg – Birnamwood High School. She also designed shirts and programs for school clubs and performances.

 

She was first involved with the Walls of Wittenberg in 2007 as a part of the student group that assisted artists Alicia Rheal and Shannon Becker in painting “The Big Picture.” In 2008 her submission to the “Spring Into Summer” art show hosted by W.O.W. received the grand prize in the student division and People’s Choice award.

In August of 2009 she completed “Stars and Stripes Forever!” which is her first mural.
