Brent Lerch
Brent is a licensed taxidermist with over 13 years of experience, professionally trained by the American Institute of Taxidermy in Wausau, Wisconsin. Based in Central and Northern Wisconsin, he serves clients across the region, including Wittenberg and Birnamwood. A lifelong hunter, fisherman, and trapper, Brent first discovered taxidermy as a winter hobby, working on his own mounts and eventually helping friends with their trophies. What began as a pastime quickly evolved into a full-time career, and from it, Hunts Remembered was born.
With a deep respect for wildlife and the outdoors, Brent takes great pride in his work, preserving game trophies with artistry and skill that brings animals back to life. His attention to detail ensures that each piece captures the essence and beauty of the animal, allowing hunters to relive their experience and cherish the memory of their hunt for years to come.
Brent’s dedication to his craft extends beyond his workshop. His recent selection for the 2024 "Untamed" fall art show highlights his artistry, showcasing pieces that reflect the natural beauty of wildlife. Each creation offers viewers a close-up encounter with the wilderness, illustrating his passion for both the art and the animals he preserves.
For Brent, taxidermy is more than just a job—it's an honor. He values the trust his customers place in him to memorialize their most prized trophies, knowing that each mount represents not just an animal, but a story and a moment in time. Whether preserving a once-in-a-lifetime trophy or adding to a growing collection, Brent’s craftsmanship ensures a lifelike and lasting tribute to every hunt.
