Kit and Brad Bandow

The Mural: Old Wittenberg High School - "Razed, But Not Forgotten"

Brad Bandow and Brushfire Signs has been serving southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois since 1998. The owners and operators of Brushfire Signs have their own special experiences in the graphic field. Their talents make Brushfire Signs the success it is. Brushfire Signs is a husband & wife team that met & fell in love, doing what they love ~ SIGNS & Walldogging.

Brad "the Bandit" Bandow & Kit "Sign-Kit" Bandow grew up with art ability in their blood & made a perfect match. Their skill sets mesh & overlap in some areas, so their abilities are pretty wide-spectrum. They've been artists long before computers appeared so they know what paint, brushes, pencils & pens can do in the right hands.

Kit holds a degree in Graphic & Applied Arts, Desktop Publishing & has won some awards at her county fair & is considered "new school" for the fact that much of her career has been invested in computer applications. Kit finds time to create post cards & greeting cards on her network of 3 computers. She has designed countless logos, trophies, print ads, billboards & every type of graphic imaginable. Not only that, she loves to pencil sketch & paint, with her preference being in watercolors.

Brad is a self-taught "Ole Skool" cartoonist, airbrusher & lettering man who

started in this industry 30 years ago in 1986. He worked & partnered in a few shops in that time, as well as briey holding a sales rep position for a major Sign Supply Company. He's also proud to say that he's an Administrator for a hand lettering website: www.CreativeSignmakers.com . Brad is the current Vice President in his chapter of BNI (Business Network Int'l. ~ www.bniwis.com) a business referral group. Bandit won some Scholastic Art awards along the way while simultaneously winning some School Yearbook competitions which allowed him to create 2 separate years of Junior High cover art & 1 Senior High cover art.

He also drew cartoons for his school newspapers & still loves to cartoon & draw caricatures. He's always looking for outlets for his art & cartoons, as in newspapers, comic books & children's books. Contact both artists at their

website: www.Brushre-signs.com. Kit & Brad have participated in Walldog & Letterhead events since the early 1990's. Each event gets better & they're looking forward to pouring their hearts & souls into the Plymouth Church Heritage Mural since faith in Christ is the center of their lives.
