"Razed, But Not Forgotten!!!"

Brad & Kit Bandow used the Creative Process to design this mural.

They began by listening to the stories and fond memories of the alumni of Wittenberg High School. They then collected photos and researched as much about the school as possible.  We also had an opportunity to reflect on our school days.  We listed all the things that we remembered like having milk duty or being a hall monitor.  We remembered saying the Pledge of Allegiance every morning which was something we remembered doing all through our school years, as did many others.  We felt since in some schools the Pledge of Allegiance is no longer a part of a child’s school day that it would be a worthy topic for the school mural.

We hope that it will start many conversations between generations.
