This was changed to a Wineless, Beerless, Cheeseless Gala. Many thanks to those who sent in a donation since we couldn't meet in person for this annual fundraiser!

Friday, April 26th, 2019 -  Annual Wine, Beer & Cheese Gala  at 7:00 p.m. Thanks to all who strolled through our beautiful WOWSPACE with a glass of wine or beer in your hand, perusing a table filled with world renowed, as well as local cheeses, meats and hors d'oeuvres while live music from Jennifer Hesch filled the air.  You were surrounded by the latest WOW Art Show entitled Artists Free Play VII.  It was another fabulous show this year.  Sponsors for the gala included:  DuPont cheese, Inc., Lisa's Sweet Catering, Nueskes Applewood Smoked Meats, the Main Event, Fabiano Brothers, Wagner Shell Food Market our art partners and volunteers.  Your $25.00 tax deductible advanced  ticket was available from WOW members, Your Community Shopper, at Ticketbud.com or by calling 715-253-3525., $30.00 at the Door.

Wine, Beer and Cheese Gala was held Saturday, April 21, 2018 -   Fabulous Food, Winning Wines and Brewery-Fresh Beers were all enjoyed with friends and neighbors.  Thank you for the music Dawn Marie Metzger, craft beers sponsored by Fabiano Brothers and wines by Wagner's Shell Food Market!

April 22nd, 2017   the Wine, Beer, and Cheese Gala was the 

opening night of the “Artists’ Free Play V”.  Fabulous food, winning wines and brewery-fresh beers were enjoyed by all.  It was the perfect way to welcome spring as attendees enjoyed an evening with friends and neighbors while perusing the art and listening to the lyrics of Mark Harrod.

2015

April 11, 2015: 8th Annual Wine, Beer and Cheese Gala.  Guests were delighted with Hugo and his award winning Dupont cheeses, Nueske's Applewood Smoked Meats  and their nationally acclaimed meats and cheeses, the eclectic selection of interesting wines from Wagner's Shell Food Mart, sweet treats from Lisa's Sweet Shoppe Bakery and Catering, Hanke's Sentry Foods and their grapes and baguettes and Pigeon River Brewing Co. with their beers and sodas. Support of this fundraiser was well attended and always appreciated.

April 5, 2014 - 7th Annual Wine, Beer and Cheese Gala. A splendid evening!

Intriguing art, food, wine and beer--what could be a better way to celebrate the end of winter with friends, old and new? The artistic imagination of Randy Verhasselt of evolutions in design, Wausau, brought extra WOW's to the WOWSPACE with the hanging of the show, a showstopping floral arrangement and window decorations that enticed visitors to come in. The contributions of all of the sponsors--Derrick Bushman, Dupont Cheese, Hanke's Sentry Foods, Lisa's Sweet Shoppe Bakery and Catering, Nueske's Applewood Smoked Meats, Pigeon River Brewing Co, Randy Verhasselt, evolutionsin design, and Wagner's Shell Food Mart--made it an evening to remember.

March 16, 2013  "From Farm to Fork (to Fabulous!)," a show of recent work of S.V. Medaris, Mt. Horeb, and Alicia Rheal, Madison, opened with the annual Wine, Beer and Cheese Gala on March 16 and continued through April 7. An entire day was spent with visits from school children. The first graders immediately went back and wrote poems about what they had seen. Hunter Wicke wrote "I could ride the big, big, big pig. Ride and ride the the big, big , big pig all day." 

This show was sponsored by Nueske's Applewood Smoked Meats and the Witt-Birn FFA and FFA Alumni.

On Saturday, April 17, 2010 more than 100 people gathered in the WOWSPACE to celebrate spring, feast their eyes on the work of Jean Accola and tickle their taste buds with specialty beers offered by Art of Stevens Point Brewery, cheeses brought by Hugo of DuPont Cheese, an array of wines from Wagner's Shell Food Mart, meats and cheese from Nueske's Applewood Smoked Meats, dainty meringues and mini-chocolate cupcakes from Lisa's Sweet Shoppe Bakery and Catering with palate cleansing grapes from Hanke's Super Valu. We thank all our sponsors and volunteers for making this a memorable evening.

Spring Thaw!

Our 2nd Annual Wine, Cheese & now Beer Gala & Fund Raiser was held Saturday, March 21, 2009, 7-10 pm, WOWSPACE

The Wagners Shell Food Mart generously donated a variety of wines for our sipping pleasure. Point Beer added some tasty samples from their repertoire. Interesting cheeses and meats came from Nueske's Applewood Smoked Meats and Dupont Cheese, Inc. Sweet treats were provided by Lisa's Sweet Shoppe Bakery and Catering. These sponsors, along with many others, heled to make this a fine event to chase away the winter doldrums and celebrate the SPRING THAW!

Music chased away the winter blues. The work of multiple artists delighted our eyes and soothe our souls.

The Clough-Zeinert decorating duo surprised us all with their dramatic artistry.
